S.RIDE Cancellation Policy

1. The cancellation fee will be charged in any of the following cases:

• the customer cancels the dispatch request three 3 minutes after the taxi to pick him/her up was determined;
• the taxi driver cancels the dispatch request because the taxi arrived at the pickup location but could not identify the customer in five 5 minutes.

The amount of cancellation fee is 500 yen (untaxable) and settled by a credit card or other Internet Payment Service the customer registered. If the customer does not register any Internet Payment Service, the customer shall pay by a convenience store payment or other method we designate. In this case, the amount of cancellation fee is 580 yen (untaxable).

2. In case the customer ordered through the Reservation Service, the service fee for the Reservation Service will not be refunded in any of the following cases
(the cancellation fee above will not be charged in addition to the service fee for the Reservation Service.):

• the customer cancels the dispatch request after the taxi to pick him/her up was determined;
• the taxi driver cancels the dispatch request because the taxi arrived at the pickup location but could not identify the customer in five 5 minutes from the reserved time.

3. The cancellation fee and the service fee for the Reservation Service above will not be charged in any of the following cases:

• the taxi to pick up the customer is delayed by a certain amount of time from the estimated arrival time which is displayed after the taxi is determined;
• it becomes difficult to pick up by the taxi once arranged and another taxi is arranged;
• another customer boards the taxi which arrived to pick up (please refer to here for the cancellation procedure).

4. If the payment of the cancellation fee is not completed or if the customer cancels a certain number of times consecutively, the use of service will be restricted.
